Modi's foreign fiasco

India's locked horns with Pakistan affects its relation on international platform also. India and Pakistan largely belong to different lobies in the larger international political arena. America's shift in international politics it a new manifestation in this direction. Pakistan has came out of the trap it created for itself in the war on terrorism. It has been engaged in several anti-terrorism war with US at different locations particularly in Afghanistan. Its role in this war has always been questioned and considered dubious as it tried to play in both directions. Now, since the war on terrorism is over, it was interrogating its justification for playing a role on the global platform. Lacking a robust economy and hi-tech led environment, Pakistan has never been capable of offering any developmental agenda to the world. It always exploited its crucial geographical location and hence offered the word on political and security front. This time again it is offering the US as ground to the US for making it relevant in South Asia against the backdrop of challenges emerging from growing India and China.
